Editorial standards and evaluation system
The contributions should be original.
All the articles submitted to Ler História should be sent to the Editorial committee by email (email@example.com). Originals submitted for publication are sent to recognised specialists for independent refereeing on the basis of a "double-blind" review.
Articles should not have more than 40.000 characters, including spaces.
Notes, numbered consecutively throughout the article, must be presented in footnotes. Bibliographic references should also be mentioned in footnotes and should include all the necessary elements to identify the document/text in question. The number of notes should not exceed 40 and the size of each footnote should not exceed 500 characters.
Articles should be accompanied by a summary, with a maximum of 200 words, in Portuguese, French and English, and a selection of four key words.
Along with the article must be sent brief biographical note of the author, with a maximum of 100 words, indicating the institutional affiliation, fields of interest and research, and recent publications.
The authors of articles accepted for publication in Ler História will be asked to statement permit editing, publishing, distribution, reproduction and marketing of text and elements that may contain. The authorization covers the editing, publishing, distribution, reproduction and marketing of the text in hard and electronic copy, including in the latter case the diffusion or commercialization through platforms with which Ler História establishes agreements.
